Global engagement is not an aspiration, it’s an expectation. Whether it’s international experiences on campus or research halfway across the world, our programs, faculty, and students are learning from the world… and learning for the world.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ around the world
Our 12 global locations convene scholars, students, and leaders for research, debate, and cultural exchange.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ faculty are conducting externally funded research in 73 different countries.
Impacting global policy
Students in the Keough School of Global Affairs are confronting the world's greatest challenges with a focus on human dignity, in Washington, D.C. and around the world.
Global encounters are a hallmark of the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ experience. With 87% of our students participating in study abroad, we challenge each other to learn through the soles of our feet and grow as global citizens.
We seek to be a reflection of the greater human family
Over 3,000 international community members are supported by ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ’s Office of International Student and Scholar Affairs, before, during, and after their time on campus. Over the past decade, the international population at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ has increased by roughly 34%.
Global engagement
Making a meaningful contribution to our world today requires connection and an unwavering commitment to solidarity in the pursuit of human flourishing.Â
Whether we talk about poverty or climate, technology or democracy, peace or justice, the biggest challenges humankind faces cut across national borders. At ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ, we are building bridges to address the most pressing issues facing our world.
